Greenhill Lodge  - Hawkes Bay

Greenhill Lodge is an intimate, tranquil and historic homestead located just 25 minutes to Napier and 15 minutes to Havelock North or Hastings. Ideally situated in the heart of New Zealand’s food and wine country, the Hawke’s Bay, with over 50 wineries, local farmers markets and organic produce stores nearby.

Situated on a hilltop with mature historic trees overlooking lush farm and grazing land, the homestead has hosted English royalty in one of our four ensuite guestrooms, most of which open to wide verandas and sensational views over magnificent gardens.   Specialising in a wide range of customised wine and food excursions designed to provide authentic and personal experiences, Greenhill offers the finest luxury lodge  experience in Hawke’s Bay and is now proudly a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

The Lodge is comprised of three suites, two lodge rooms and a separate cottage with an outdoor bath. The lodge has an elegant Royal Doulton Claw foot bath installed in 1900 which guests can luxuriate in and enjoy our Molton Brown bath menu.

Often referred to as "The fruit bowl of New Zealand", Hawke's Bay holds the added attractions of world class vineyards showcasing fine wine, complemented by local food producers featuring organic produce, much to any gourmet’s delight.   Greenhill proudly showcases Hawke's Bay with the finest local food and wine from an extensive and exclusively Hawke’s Bay wine list. This includes many library wines from the best vintages, as well as special wines from small local producers who have a passion for their produce.

Food and wine matches are a speciality and we take great pleasure in tailoring a four course Table d'hote menu to your preferences at $150 per person including gst. Menus change nightly, based on seasonal, fresh, local produce.
