Step ashore at Ship Cove, in the footsteps of explorer Captain Cook, for our most popular day walk. Through magnificent virgin forest you’ll emerge at the ridgeline to breathtaking views of Cook Strait and Resolution Bay, before descending to the sheltered shoreline of Endeavour Inlet.

4 Hour Cruise & Walk Endeavour Inlet to Punga Cove : 12.7km
Historic Furneaux Lodge is the starting point for your walk around the head of Endeavour Inlet to Punga Cove Resort.
Venture over the swing bridge into the cool embrace of abundant punga ferns along the shoreline, to the melodic call of the bellbird.

3 Hour Cruise & Walk Resolution Bay to Endeavour Inlet : 10.5km
Discover a primordial world redolent of Lord of the Rings, in the towering rain forest just behind Furneaux Lodge.
This gentle walk traverses native forest over a low saddle offering a spectacular vantage point for the photographer. The gradual descent curls along the shoreline to historic Furneaux Lodge.
This is a gentle option for families, or a stroll after lunch. Meander along an easy path through ancient beech forest to an enchanting waterfall. Invigorated, inspired, relax with a coffee or a glass of wine as we cruise home.
