Rimu Lodge is this place. 

Located on New Zealand's West Coast,  Rimu Lodge is a purpose built luxury boutique lodge accommodation situated just a ten minute drive from Hokitika and its award winning cafes, and unique tourism attractions. Architecturally designed, each guest room takes maximum advantage of the wonderful views.  Rooms are casually elegant, yet intimate, and tastefully decorated. Rimu Lodge is the only Qualmark rated 5 star lodge/bed & breakfast on the West Coast.

As the perfect retreat, you will be able to take time out and go at your own pace, surrounded by warmth, beauty and in winter the ambience of a roaring open fire.

All rooms have large ensuite bathrooms with hairdryers, toiletries, heated towel racks, heated demisting mirrors and robes. All rooms also have flatscreen TVs, free internet wi-fi, central heating and double glazed windows, table and comfortable chairs for your comfort, refrigerator and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. Telephone and free wifi internet facilities are available to guests.  There is a separate guest entrance to all suites. The Korimako room has a super king/twin bed, the Kotuku room has a king bed and the other two rooms (Kereru and Tui rooms) all have queen beds.  All windows in the lodge, including the rooms, have secure insect screens.

All rooms face north east enjoying the sunrise, with the two ground floor rooms opening onto a large deck to enable guests to enjoy the sunny outdoors and listen to the birdsong in the native bush surrounding the lodge. The first floor (upstairs) rooms have access to the deck from the great room.
