Takatu Lodge provides boutique accommodation on a working vineyard situated on a warm north facing hillside in the picturesque village of Matakana. The contemporary design of the lodge incorporates natural wood, stone and marble,  complementing and enhancing its surroundings.

Walls of glass seamlessly fuse the interior and exterior environments affording stunning views of the vineyard, mountain ranges and the sea.  High vaulted ceilings, open fires inside and out, a cosy library and outdoor landscaped rooms add to the ambience, creating a truly exceptional stay.

Fine cuisine is prepared with indulgence in mind.  Locally sourced produce make their way onto your breakfast menu and dinner platters, while fine wine compliments your cuisine. 

Takatu Lodge offers four luxurious and spacious suites.  Each has it's own terrace looking out to the spectacular views of the surrounding property.
