The Point Villas are located on Whakamoenga Point, an exclusive estate with full security access. The Villas are set within 58 acres of native bushland and exotic plantings on the edge of Lake Taupo – the very heart of New Zealand’s North Island. Each private villa terrace looks out to these native forests and the changing hues and reflections of Lake Taupo’s Mine Bay. Dramatic mountain views of Ruapehu, Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Pihanga can be seen across the lake from the Estate.
The Point Villas are only 10 minutes drive from the thriving township of Taupo, which means guests enjoy both complete privacy and the convenience of being close to public amenities and services. Taupo is a 3½ hour drive south from Auckland or 4½ hours north from Wellington.
Villa One (Tatamoana) offers 2 bedrooms (both with superking or 2 king single beds) and uninterrupted views. Villa Two (Ngahere) offers up to 3 bedrooms (two with superking or 2 king single beds, and one with a superking bed). Each Villa features beautifully appointed bedrooms with en-suites, a well equipped designer kitchen, laundry, a large living/dining area and its own mineralised swimming pool.
